1. Purpose of the Information Text and Data Controller Position of Our Platform:
Our Platform, Fides Consultancy, has the title of “data controller” within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) regarding personal data of taxpayers, and this Information and Consent Text aims to inform taxpayers about the personal data processing activities carried out by Fides Consultancy in accordance with the said Law and to obtain their explicit consent for the situations specified in Article 3 below.
2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data:
Personal data belonging to taxpayers are processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, including the necessary work to be carried out by the units and the execution of the relevant processes in order to benefit the relevant persons from the services provided by Fides Consultancy, the necessary work to be carried out by the relevant units and the execution of the processes related to this in order to carry out the activities carried out by Fides Consultancy, the planning and execution of the activity strategies of Fides Consultancy, the provision of the legal, technical and commercial-work security of Fides Consultancy and the relevant persons who have a business relationship with Fides Consultancy, and the planning and execution of the activities required to customize the services provided by Fides Consultancy according to the tastes, usage habits and needs of the relevant persons and to recommend and introduce them to the relevant persons. 3. Personal Data to be Processed with the Explicit Consent of Taxpayers and Purposes of Processing:
In the following cases where the personal data processing conditions in Articles 5/2 and 6/3 of the Law cannot be met, the explicit consent of the taxpayers must be obtained in order for Fides Consultancy to process personal data.
In this context, personal data; It may be processed in line with the approval of the taxpayer within the scope of planning and executing sales and marketing processes of Fides Consultancy services, planning and executing processes for creating and/or increasing loyalty to the services provided by Fides Consultancy, including creating campaigns for taxpayers, cross-selling, determining the target audience, tracking taxpayer movements and carrying out activities to increase user experience, developing the operation of Fides Consultancy’s website and mobile application and personalizing them according to taxpayer needs, carrying out direct and indirect marketing, personalized marketing and remarketing activities, carrying out personalized segmentation, targeting, analysis and in-office reporting activities, planning and executing market research, taxpayer satisfaction activities and planning and executing customer relations management processes, and sharing with the parties specified in this Information and Consent Text.
4. 4. Transfer of Personal Data of Taxpayers:
Personal data of taxpayers may be shared with our authorized persons, affiliates, business partners, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and organizations and private institutions within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, including the necessary work to be carried out by the business units and the execution of the relevant business processes to benefit the relevant persons from the training/services offered by Fides Consultancy, the necessary work to be carried out by the relevant units and the execution of the processes related to this to carry out the activities carried out by Fides Consultancy, the planning and execution of the activity strategies of Fides Consultancy, the provision of the legal, technical and commercial-work safety of Fides Consultancy and the relevant persons who have a business relationship with Fides Consultancy, and the planning and execution of the activities required to customize the services offered by Fides Consultancy according to the tastes, usage habits and needs of the relevant persons and to recommend and promote them to the relevant persons.
5. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data:
Personal data is collected from taxpayers in electronic/real environment. Personal data collected for the legal reasons stated above can be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and this Information and Consent Text.
6. Rights of Individuals as Personal Data Owners:
According to Article 11 of the Law, data owners; (i) They have the right to learn whether their personal data has been processed, (ii) to request information if their personal data has been processed, (iii) to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, (iv) to know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad, (v) to request correction of personal data if they are processed incompletely or incorrectly and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, (vi) to request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring processing are eliminated despite the fact that it has been processed in accordance with the law and other relevant provisions of law and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, (vii) to object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems and (viii) to request compensation for the damages in case of damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.
Requests regarding the exercise of such rights may be submitted by personal data owners using the methods specified in the Fides Consultancy Policy on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data within the Scope of Law No. 6698 located at https://fidesmusavirlik.com.tr//. Fides Consultancy will evaluate such requests and finalize them within 30 days. Fides Consultancy reserves the right to charge a fee based on the fee schedule determined by the Personal Data Protection Board (if any) for such requests.
